- BEWARE OF INTEGRATED SYSTEMS TEKNOLOGIES (Tom Gilligan)
- These folks sold my ex-wife a A4000 PAL motherboard before she moved
- to Paris, but when she arrived there it would not work. Months went by
- while Mr. Gilligan assured her that the problem was everything except
- the
- board her sold her. He swore that he had it tested before selling it.
-
- Well, after she bought a new (much costlier) board in Paris, in
- addition
- to even costlier RAM, she sent the board back. Not only did Integrate
- Systems refuse it, they refused even look at it! I had it tested by
- Hal
- Greenlee of HardDrivers in Florida (a good man) who discovered that
- the board would only work with a 68030 card (A3200/3400) but in no way
- would it work with the 68040 (NO WAY!)
-
- Tom Gilligan refuses to even discuss the matter. Whether through
- incompetance, ignorance or true malevolence, his actions are
- inexcusable.
-
- Since this sale was part of my divorce settlement, I am now saddled
- with
- selling a A3000 PAL motherboard for basically the cost of the chips
- (all
- good surface mount chips, btw) for anything close to $250. (any
- takers?)
-
- Even though she is my ex, I don't think she was treated fairly.
